A new team enters Gulliver : SPM

The team lead by Yannick Rondelez works on molecular programming, directed evolution, and diagnostics. Molecular programming is the science of complex coding systems at the molecular scale, using the fact that information processing can be done using molecules as transporters and chemical reactions as "computational primitives". This team has already created an array of molecular mixtures that mimic the regulatory network architecture seen in single cells. One of their goal now is to apply this knowledge to the difficult problem of enzyme design or the detection of "ultratraces" of nucleic acids.
